Going to see great bands play is my one indulgence so I thought I'd recap a few of the best.

October 7/8- 2009
Marilyn Manson (with Hatchet Dawn), Thebarton Theatre Adelaide.
This was the 2nd and 3rd times I'd seen Manson and was super pumped to see Twiggy for the first time! Both days I lined up in the blistering cold for hours to get a good spot. It paid off, I was at the front for both. Great set list, great live band (with 3 different members from the first time I saw them, only same ones Manson + Ginger) and great interaction with Manson/band and Manson/audience.

September 26- 2009
Deathstars (with Ink), Corner Hotel Melbourne.
I never thought I'd get to see Deathstars so I was almost wetting myself when I heard they'd be coming to Adelaide. Cost me a fortune in flights (I was in Melbourne for less than 24 hours) but it was so worth it. We went straight to the front and got to touch Whiplasher and Cat *drool* It was an amazing show, they're such entertaining guys. Can't wait to see them again one day.

February 28th- 2009
Soundwave, Bonython Park Adelaide.
Lacuna Coil, Anberlin, In Flames, 36 CrazyFists, DevilDriver, Nine Inch Nails, Alkaline Trio, Every Time I Die.
Met and got stuff signed by Lacuna Coil, Anberlin and got a drumstick signed by Silverstein. Seeing Nine Inch Nails made my life complete.

October 28th- 2008
Slipknot, Wayville Showgrounds Adelaide.
Had to stand through Machine Head but Slipknot were a lot of fun. Played 95% old stuff and had a BRUTAL mosh pit! I lost my shoe.

October 24th- 2008
DragonForce, HQ Adelaide.
Never had soe much fun at a gig! "If you think we're too famous to sleep with you, we're not! Come down to Enigma after the show" they interacted so well together and with the audience. All sound incredible live.

March 1st- 2008
Soundwave, Bonython Park Adelaide.
Mindless Self Indulgence, The Offspring, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Alexisonfire, As I Lay Dying.
MSI were so much fun, especially paying out the Thursday kids Met MSI and got my poster signed. Very sweet guys, Jimmy kissed my hand *swoon*

November 14th- 2007
Muse, Entertainment Centre Adelaide.
Back in these days I was still in love with Muse. Always a wonderful live band.

October 11th- 2007
Marilyn Manson, Thebarton Theatre Adelaide.
First time I saw Manson. We lined up from 9am and got a spot at the front right in front of Rob Holliday (who posed for pics for us while playing all night). Manson was very good at interacting with the audience and the costume/set changes were many. Fight Song was the best song I've ever heard by any band. Very theatrical. Got Rob's bass pick *should frame it*

February 2nd- 2007
Big Day Out, Wayville Showgrounds Adelaide
Muse, Tool, some others.
Saw Muse for the third time which was the main reason I went. Also saw Tool who were awesome. Met My Chemical Romance and got a CD signed for a friend, but then she got one from someone else so now I have it lol. Should sell on eBay.

November 14th- 2006
AFI, Thebarton Theatre Adelaide
Amazing show. Davey was wonderful and very entertaining.

January 30th- 2004.
Big Day Out, Wayville Showgrounds, Adelaide
Muse, Metallica.
My first concert/festival. Was great, and very hot.


I've been to dozens of other gigs including more Big Day Outs, The Killers, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenfold, Underoath, Anberlin, Deftones, 18 Visions, Silverstein, The Red Shore, I Killed The Prom Queen, Parkway Drive, Deez Nutz, Set Your Goals, Taste of Chaos and more... Good good times!
